SOUTH BEND - Dennis Lee Homman, 61, passed away peacefully
on Tuesday, May 6th, at 3:30 a.m. in his home after a long and
courageous battle. He was born on April 13, 1947, to James and
Helen Homman. He was preceded in death by his father, James; and
by a stepbrother, Terry Homman. He is survived by his wife of 38
years, Jaqueline; two children, Diane (John) Linville of
South Bend and Dennis (Stephanie) Homman of South Bend; three
grandchildren, Kyle Pierce, Connor Pierce and Nicole
Homman; his mother, Helen; a sister, Judy Russel of South
Bend; and his stepbrother, Roger (Dawn) Homman of Mishawaka.
Dennis served in Vietnam. He retired in 2007 from A.M. General
after 38 years from a job he loved. He loved being a prankster
and making people laugh. He made a lot of friends along the way.
He was a wonderful man who loved life and being outdoors.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.
Thursday, May 8, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower
Road, South Bend. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
on Friday, May 9, in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will follow
at Riverview Cemetery.
