Dec. 24, 1957 - March 29, 2010MISHAWAKA - Gene "Buddy" C. Holewczynski, 52, residing in Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010, in his home. He was previously employed with Newman & Altman and Royal Coach. Gene was born on December 24, 1957, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Eugene and H. Elaine (Cutler) Holewczynski, and had lived here all of his life. Gene is survived by his three sisters, Mary Ann (Brad) Lewellen of South Bend, Elaine (Juan) Campos of OK and Laura (Patrick) Mark of Mishawaka; 12 nieces and nephews, Chris Freel, Shawn Miller, Adam Runnels, Angela Runnels, Tony Runnels, Joshawa Holewczynski, Becky Ryan, Brandi Smith, Crystal Mark, Zachary Mark, Chloe Mark and Isaiah Mark; and nine great-nieces and nephews, April Freel, Jenny Freel, Nathan Geschwender, Tyler Runnels, Caleb Runnels, Jaxson Runnels, Alexandra Brugh, Kaleigh Holewczynski and Austin Bassett. His brother, Mark Holewczynski, preceded him in death. Family visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 PM Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Grace Community Church, 4001 Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 - 3:30 PM Saturday in the church. Memorial services will follow with Pastor Rick Graves officiating.
