Sister Mary Petronilia CSC, 85, of St. Mary’s Convent, died there Thursday afternoon. Born Oct. 8, 1888 in Savannah, Mo. As Catherine Hogan, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Mar. 18, 1915, coming from St. Joseph, Mo. She was a nurse who also served as an administrator at hospitals in Anderson and in Illinois and California.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Sarurday in Our Lary of Loretto Chapel and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the convent parlors where friends may call today.
