Tara K. Hoffman, 56, of Lowell Wood
West, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 4:30 a.m.
on Friday, Aug. 4, in her residence. Mrs. Hoffman was born on
July 26, 1944, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of the late Foster
and Rose (Catalino) Malone. She was a lifelong area
resident.
On Oct. 12, 1991, in Mishawaka, she married
Terry Hoffman. Mrs. Hoffman leaves her cherished memories to her
husband, Terry, and her daughter, Tara (Wayne) Temple of
Jones, Mich., and her son, Christopher (Melissa Roeder) Booth
of Delray Beach, Fla.; one grandson, Cole Temple; one aunt
and uncle, Katie and Ross Messana of Mishawaka; nine
cousins, Linda and Phil Dotson, Joe Dotson, Jayne and
Terry Ross, Carolyn and John Mickels, Sandy and
Joyce Catalino, Ann Mary and Dean Johnson, Janet and Louis
Carrico, all of Mishawaka, Kathy and Tony Valenti
of South Bend, Ind., and Henry Catalino Jr. of Elkhart, Ind.;
nieces, Cynthia (Ken) Melanson and Christine (Allen) Kowalewski;
and a nephew, Robert Joers. Mrs. Hoffman was employed by
I.U.S.B., and was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church,
Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. today,
Aug. 6, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka,
where wake prayers will be at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial
will be at 12 noon on Monday, Aug. 7, in St. Bavo's Catholic
Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. James Shafer officiating. Burial
will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
