Leona Catherine Hock, 99, of Miller's Merry Manor, Hobart, Ind., formerly of William Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, in the nursing home. Mrs. Hock was born on Sept. 21, 1902.

In 1923, as Leona Lee, she married Stanley Hock, who died in 1963. Leona was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bernita Davis; a son, Stanley M . Hock; and by a great-grandchild. She is survived by five grandchildren, Ronald Hock, Brandon Hock, Darice Jarnecke, Valerie Detzler and John Detzler; and by seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic C hurch. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue.
