George R. Hixenbaugh, 72, retired Mishawaka Police Officer, died on Saturday October 25, 2008. He is survived by his wife Charleen, two step children Cristy and Curt. He was preceded by his parents, Pearl & Calvin, sisters, Mary & Verna, brothers, James & Harry. Surviving brothers and sisters are, Scott, Dennis, Ralph, Betty, Margaret and Pat. George served as Mishawaka District #1 Councilman and Councilman at Large. He was a member of Club 15.
