North Liberty --   Clifford E. Hively, 78, of 68318 Sycamore Road, died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth [Marshall County, Indiana].

Mr. Hively retired as a farmer and was employed by the former Studebaker Corp.  He was born Feb 15, 1914, in St. Joseph County and was a lifelong area resident.  He is survived by two sisters, Dottie Whitmer and Ruth Bolenbaugh, both of South Bend.  He was a member of North Liberty Church of Christ and the former First Brethren Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in North Liberty Church of Christ.  Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in A.M. Manuel Funeral Home.
