Clarence L. Hines
May 6, 1906 - July 31, 1995

     SOUTH BEND - Service for Clarence L. Hines,  89, of Northside Boulevard,
who died at 6:40 a.m. Monday in his home, will be at  2 p.m. Thursday in
Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in chapel  Hill Memorial Gardens,
Osceola. friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  Wednesday in the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of  St. Joseph County,
Inc.
      Mr. Hines retired in 1964 as a foreman  from Studebaker Corp. after 39
years of service. He was born May 6, 1906, in  Muscatine, Iowa, and lived most
of his life in this area. On March 30, 1925, in  Davenport, Iowa, he married
Catherine Gerke, she survives.
