Catherine Hines
March 12, 1903 - March 23, 1996

     SOUTH BEND - Catherine Hines, 93, of Northside  Boulevard, died at 1:30
p.m. Saturday in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Hines  was born March 12,
1903, in Davenport, Iowa and lived here most of her life. On  March 30, 1925, In
Davenport, as Catherine Gerke, she married Clarence L. Hines.  He died July
31, 1995. Surviving are two friends, Sharon and Jeffery Thompson of  South Bend.
     Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in  Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial  Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the  funeral home. Memorial contributions
may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County  Inc.
