Mrs. Pearl Alby Himschoot, aged 62,
of 727 West Washington avenue, died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday in her
residence after an illness of 18 months. She was born in South
Bend Feb. 22, 1887, and spent her life here. On Nov. 29, 1933, in
South Bend, she was married to Henry Himschoot, who survives.
Other survivors are three children, Mrs. Charles H. Lynch,
of Pasadena, Calif; Joseph Alby of South Bend, and Mrs. R.
J. Gillespie, of Kittaning, Pa.; a stepson, Cyril
Himschoot, of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs.
I. F. Niedzielski, Mrs. A. F. Peterson and Mrs.
Stanley Bartkowiak, all of South Bend, and three brothers,
Walter B., Anthony and Stanley Deka, all of South Bend.
Friends may call in the Nemeth funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday
until funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Patricks
Catholic church. Ref. Joseph R. McAllister, C.S.C.,
pastor, will officiate. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Sunday in the Nemeth funeral home by Father McAllister.

Pallbearers for the funeral of Mrs. Henry
Himschoot, 727 West Washington avenue, which will take place at
9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Patricks Catholic church, will be
Joseph Bartkowiak, James and Casimir Deka, Joseph Weger
and Carl and Louis Horvath. Rev. Joseph R. McAllister,
C.S.C., will officiate.
Note: Pearl was born Pearl Josephine Deka as daughter to John Deka and Anna Klewin Deka. Pearls first husband, Joseph Alby, died in 1928.
