MISHAWAKA - Edla Elivira Hillebrand, 92, of 441 Sugar Pine Drive, died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. Mrs. Hillebrand was a sales clerk for House of Fabrics for 20 years. She retired in 1968.

She was born Jan. 19, 1903, in Grand Rapids. In Mishawaka, as Edla E. Johnson, she married Joseph Hillebrand. He died in 1969. Surviving are four grandchildren, Sandra DeKay and Suzanne Welch, both of Paramont, Calif., Robert Miller of Griffin, Ga., and William Miller of Downing, Calif.; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Johnson of South Bend. A daughter, Virginia Ruth Welch, died Nov. 10, 1994. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main St.
