SOUTH BEND -- Wava M. (Ruggles) Hickey, 83, died Wednesday in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Kinzie of South Bend; and a son, Lee of South Bend.

Private family services will be held.

There will be no visitation. McGann Hay, Morning Star Funerals & Cremations, is handling arrangements.

Editor: On Sept. 28, 1940, in St. Joseph County IN, as Wava M. Ruggles she married Melvin J. Hickey. He died in 1968.
