Mary P. Hickey

Mrs. Mary P. Hickey, aged 66 years, died late Saturday afternoon at her residence, 505 E. Corby Street. Death followed an illness of four weeks caused by cancer.  Mrs. Hickey was born in St. Lawrence, Canada, Aug 19, 1848 and came to this country when she was but four years old.

In 1864 she married William LaFountaine, who died in 1874. Two years later she was married to Louis Hickey. The surviving children are Fred LaFountaine, Mrs. Sidney Hunt and Elmer Hickey, all of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rev. P. J. Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
