LAKEVILLE - Nellie Mae Heyde, 78, of Bushnell, FL, formerly of Lakeville, IN, passed away at 1:32 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2007, in Osprey Point Nursing Center, Bushnell, FL. She was born on June 15, 1929, in South Bend, IN, to Lewis David and Chloe (McIntyre) Dowell.

On August 5, 1951, in Lakeville, IN, she married Grover Heyde Jr., who survives. Mrs. Heyde is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Grover; two daughters, Robyn (Paul) Patterson of The Villages, FL; Kathleen (Walter) Armstrong of Fern Park, FL; son Chris (Sandy) Heyde of Lakeville, IN; five grandchildren, Brandy Patterson, Brad Patterson, Nathen Armstrong, Brent Armstrong and Katie Heyde; and two great grandchildren, Krista Colon and Nate Armstrong. A brother, Elmer Dowell preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN. Rev. Steve Cox will officiate. Burial will follow at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4 8 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007, in the funeral home.
