Inez A. Hesch

MISHAWAKA - Inez A. Hesch, 97, formerly of Mishawaka, passed away during the morning hours on Sunday, June 22, 2008, in the Bremen Healthcare Center. Inez was born on July 28, 1910, in Champagne, Illinois, to the late Henry and Birdie Lou (Robertson) Christman.

In August 1925 in Bloomington, Indiana, she married Richard M. Hesch, who preceded her in death in 1978. She worked for 30 years at Bonnie Doon's as a waitress and supervisor. Inez is survived by her four children, Donald R. (Mary) Hesch of Bremen, Duaine P. (Carolyn) Hesch of South Bend, Jerry L. (Martha) Hesch of Mishawaka and Gary L. (Sherry) Probst of Mishawaka; along with 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and five great-great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are two sisters, Jessie Koontz of Bloomington, Indiana, and Dorothy Childers of New Port Richey, Florida. Inez was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty J. Woodruff and Joan Thomas; two sons, Charles H. Hesch and Roger A. Hesch; nine brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held in the funeral chapel at 8 p.m. on Thursday, with Rev. Wonnacott officiating. The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to either Riley's Children's Hospital or to your local hospice organization.
