MISHAWAKA - Helen D. Hesch, 80, of Mishawaka passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born on February 11, 1928, in Bremen, IN. to the late Oliver and Ethel (Middaugh) Vollmer. Helen is survived by her three daughters, Connie Knapp of South Bend, Darlene Adams of Mishawaka, and Debbie (Jim) Shively of Etna Green, IN; and by two sons, Timothy (Jan) Hesch and Jeffery (Cindy) Hesch; and a daughter-in-law, Vikki Hesch all from Mishawaka, IN. Helen was a loving and caring grandmother and great-grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Dorothy (Virgil) Enders of Bourbon, IN. Helen is preceded in death by a son, Robert Hesch; and by four sisters, Freda Enders, Viloa Lynch, Elsie Bollenbacher, and Mary Lou Kyle. Helen retired as a Factory Worker from Selmer Industry of Elkhart and from Valley Screen Processing of Mishawaka.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, with visitation two hours prior at the Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka, IN., with the Reverend Michael Dixon officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions may be made to The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN. 46637.
