Clarence Herthoge

Clarence Herthoge, 82, of 705 Mary's Street, Dowagiac, Mich., died on Monday, Jan. 24, in the Gateway Medical Center, Clarksville, Tenn.

He was born on April 20, 1917, in South Bend, Ind., the son of Rene Herthoge and Elva Forman Herthoge. Mr. Herthoge was a retired inspector for Bendix Aviation and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, South Bend. He was also a member of Eagles Lodge for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Marie Witham Herthoge; a daughter, Barbara Ann Buikema of College Station, Texas; a son, Richard Clarence Herthoge of Clarksville; and by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, in Calvary Baptist Church, South Bend, where friends may call from one hour before services.
