William Carl Hertel (July 6, 1915 - Sept. 7, 2007).

SOUTH BEND - William C. Hertel, 92, died Friday in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. He retired in 1977 from the former Sunnyside Beverage Company. His wife, Ruth Ethel (Emerick) Hertel, preceded him in death in 1996. He is survived by one sister, Gladys Hite of Plymouth; and two half brothers, Virgil DeLanghe of Lakeville and Junior DeLanghe of South Bend. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, is assisting the family with arrangements.
