Lenora L. Hertel: (Fort Wayne Journal Gazette 9/11/1979)

Lenora L. Hertel, 62, of 257 Northeast Drive, a retired sales clerk with 15 years’ service with Wolf & Dessauer and later L.S. Ayres department stores, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hertel was a native of Newland, Ind. Surviving are her husband, John J., and six sisters, Mrs. Robert Gillen, Mrs. Julia Milewski, Mrs. Adeline Nowicki and Mrs. Katherine Lipowski, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Stanley Hauch and Mrs. Alfred Hauch, both of Sodus, Mich. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
