MISHAWAKA - There were no services or visitation for Honorene Williamson Hertel, 84, of San Diego, formerly of Mishawaka, who died Sept. 8 in Scripps Memorial Hospital, San Diego. Cremation has taken place. Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary, San Diego, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego, CA 92103-9893.

Mrs. Hertel was born May 22, 1911, in Mishawaka, and lived in Mishawaka until 1960.

On Dec. 7, 1940, she married Wilbur Hertel. He died in 1984. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Shreiner of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Williamson of Brewster, Wash.; and a niece, Jenny Weis of Mishawaka.
