SOUTH BEND - Dolly A. Hershberger, 21, of 1725 Warren St., was found dead at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in her home. The death has been ruled a homicide. Miss Hershberger was a former employee of Saint Mary's College in food service.
She was born June 13, 1973, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by her adoptive parents, Carol and Herman L. Hershberger of New Paris; 12 sisters, Deborah Cannon, Dawn Carter, Diana Hershberger, Deanna Hershberger, Danielle Luten, Denise Hershberger and DeAnne Hershberger, all of South Bend, Donna Hershberger, Deidra Hershberger, Darcy Hershberger, DelMarie Hershberger and DeVony Hershberger, all of New Paris; seven brothers, Daniel of Constantine, Dwayne, Donald, David and Douglas M., all of South Bend, Douglas of Mishawaka and Delton of Goshen; a stepsister, Alicia Myers of New Paris; and four stepbrothers, Charles ''Tom'' Myers of Long Beach, Calif., Joseph Myers of Goshen, and Benjamin Myers and Richard Myers, both of New Paris.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in McGann Funeral Home, 21275 W. Cleveland Road. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to CANCO.
