SOUTH BEND - Pauline Herron, 70, of 139 Studebaker St., died of natural causes at 9 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Herron was a former employee of the Foster Grandparent Program. She was born Nov. 6, 1923, in Cairo, Ill., and lived in South Bend since 1945, coming from Cairo. S

he is survived by three daughters, Maxine Chambliss, Lisa Northern, and Allyson Herron, all of South Bend; a son, David of St. Paul, Minn.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor's Aid Society of the church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services in the church. Clark's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
