SOUTH BEND - Darrick A. Herrell, 36, was born Jan. 21, 1972, to Robert L. Herrell and Wanda (Lowery) Anderson of South Bend. He departed this life on March 4, 2008, in Saint Joseph Hospital, South Bend, after a lengthy disability. Darrick was a talented entrepreneur and artist. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He leaves to cherish his loving parents, Robert Herrell and Wanda (Lowery) Anderson; and two beloved sons, Darrion M. Herrell and Vincent Hill. A brother, Joseph Anderson, preceded him in death. He is also survived by sisters, Dawn Anderson and Debra (Rickey) Evans of Grand Rapids, MI, Joi (Brian) Bogan of Ypsilanti, MI, Barbara (Leroy) Talbert; maternal grandmother, Betty (Alva) Andrews; a maternal grandfather, Aaron (Essie) Lowery; four aunts, Shirley (Lee) Lancaster, Ira (Andrew) Wright, Barbara Batteast and Debbie Allen; three uncles, David (Bobbie) Lowery of South Bend, Maurice (Mary) Lee of Carson, CA, and Tony Herrell; special cousins, Latoya Surratt, Cameron, Carmon and Camille Robinson, and NaShawn Brown.
