BROOKSVILLE, FL - Molly June Herban 68, died on Wednesday January
27, 2010 in Waterloo Alabama surrounded by her family. Molly was
born on November 14, 1941 to Ruth and Edwin Busch who preceded
her in death and also by a twin sister who died at birth.
Surviving are her loving children: Kathleen (Paul) Anastos, of
South Bend and Mark Herban of Waterloo Alabama and five
grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrew Anastos, Shelby, Austin and
Collin Herban. Molly graduated from Central High School class of
1960 and was looking forward to attending her 50th class reunion.
She was a volunteer at Lydick and Warren School, worked for Civil
Service giving Armed Forces test and was a secretary for D.C.A.S.
(Defense Contract Administration Services) the South Bend
division; she then transferred to Ft. Wayne and worked in quality
control for the US Government as well as in Indianapolis. She
retired in 2003 and in 2004 moved to Brooksville Florida and
became a Hospice Volunteer where she worked the Share program at
her church, took friends to Dr Appts and really enjoyed working
on her genealogy and card making. Molly loved to travel and made
friends no matter where she went. She loved all types of music
but attended many jazz festivals. Her pride and joy were her
grandchildren and a great grandchild due in May. Molly was always
a giving person and loved her independence. Per her wishes she
has been cremated and private family service will be held at a
later date; however a Remembrance Day will be held on March 20,
2010 at the Knights of Columbus Hall 5202 Linden Ave. in South
Bend from 12-4 pm EST. A short service will take place at 1:30 pm
EST at which time anyone wishing to share a memory may do so.
Memorial contribution may be sent to Hernando Pasco Hospice,
12260 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613 in memory of Molly
Herban.
