MISHAWAKA - Susan Ann Hensley, 59, of Colony Court, Mishawaka, passed away in the Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, on Saturday, Dec. 29th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 20, 1948, in South Bend, to Ralph and Dorothy (Bixler) Schlarb, who both preceded her in death. Susan was a cashier in the service department of the Jordan Automotive Group in Mishawaka for 25 years. She loved to play bingo, but mainly enjoyed her family, especially her four grandchildren, Scottie Christian, Nicholas, Eric and Amanda Seske. Surviving along with her grandchildren are two daughters, Kimberly (Robert) Seske and Jean Christian, both of Osceola; a brother, William "Bill" (Sharon) Schlarb; and a nephew, William "Bill" (Robin) Schlarb Jr., both of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow the services Thursday at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family wants to express appreciation for all of those who helped them during this difficult time, including friends at the Jordan Automotive Group for all of their support and encouragement, and also the staff at the Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center for the love and caring of Susan and her family.
