Mrs. Elodie Hennion, 84, formerly of 1445 Mishawaka Ave., died at 5:35 p.m. Friday in the Ridgedale Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 22, 1887 in Belgium. She had lived is South Bend 63 years coming from Belgium. She was married June 6, 1909 in South Bend to Rene C. Hennion, who survives with two sons, George F. of South Bend and Joseph B. of Niles, two daughters, Mrs Helen Cook of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Sister Mary Claire OSU, Toledo, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs Alida VanLaere, South Bend,
Friends may call at the McGann Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rev. Donald F. Guertin CSC, pastor, Officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
