Mishawaka - Joseph Henigsmith, aged 82. Died at 1 a.m. today in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cecil Robbins, 618 West Lawrence Street. He had been in ill health for two years and had been confined to his bed for a week. Mr. Henigsmith was born July 4, 1860 in Austria and came here 61 years ago from that country. He married Miss Amanda Futterknecht May 6, 1886 in Nappanee, Ind. She died March 26, 1933.
Surviving other than Mrs. Robbins are four sons, Charles, Leo and Alfred Henigsmith all of Mishawaka, and William Henigsmith of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bowman, of Saskatchawan, Canada; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Henigsmith was a member of St. Monicas Roman Catholic Church. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb Chapel.

Funeral services for Joseph Henigsmith, aged 82 of 618 West Lawrence Street, who died early Monday morning, will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Monicas Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Anthony Badina, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at Bubb Chapel until the hour of the services.
