SOUTH BEND - Thelma A. Hendrickson, 88, of South 26th Street, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Hendrickson was born Feb. 2, 1907, in Mount Etna, Ind., and lived in South Bend since 1923, coming from Marshall County.
On Nov. 8, 1930, in South Bend, as Thelma A. Ketchum, she married Troy D. Hendrickson. He survives with three sons, Richard T. of South Bend, Roger L. of Portland, Ore., and Carl E. of Jasper, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was a member of River Park United Methodist Church and former member of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Mishawaka, and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 267, Mishawaka.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
