SOUTH BEND - Services for Thomas H. ''Tom'' Henderson Jr., 35, of East Ewing Street, who died at 9:15 a.m. Friday as a result of a drowning in Gray Lake, north of Edwardsburg, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Prairie Avenue Cemetery, Elkhart. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews School.

Mr. Henderson was assistant manager at Spiece in Mishawaka. He was born June 24, 1959, in Elkhart and lived in this area most of his life.

Surviving are his fiancee, Mary Fahey Smith of South Bend; his parents, Thomas and Margaret Henderson Sr. of Elkhart; four sisters, Suella Vandygriff and Kristy Henderson, both of Elkhart, and Kathy Sproles and Lynn Henderson, both of Oelwein, Iowa; a brother, Dale of Elkhart; and maternal grandmother, Ruby Goldy of Elkhart. He was a Navy veteran and a member of the Good Old Days Bowling League.
