SOUTH BEND - Pauline Ruby Henderson, 89, formerly of Rochester, IN, died at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in Hospice House, South Bend. She was born on January 4, 1921 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Frank and Joan (Zimmer) Hammond. On February 15, 1941 in Osceola, IN, she married R. Don Henderson Jr. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2004 in South Bend, IN. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Pauline was a housewife. She was a Member of the New Apostolic Church in South Bend. Pauline was an avid Notre Dame fan and she enjoyed decorating. She is survived by two sons, Don (Marianna) Henderson of Ormond Beach, Fl, and Fred (Kathy) Henderson of Osceola, IN; five grandchildren, Jodi Ann Yee, Heather Henderson Green, Robin Don Henderson, Katie Henderson and Jessica Henderson; seven great-grandchildren, Clair, Madison and Thomas Yee. Amelia and Oliver Green and Emiline and Reid Henderson; and two brothers, Jack (Carolyn) Hammond of Abbeville, GA, and William (Nan) Hammond of Peoria, IL. Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, in New Apostolic Church, 5602 South Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN 46614. Rev. Hans Sigg and Rev. Dennis Spriggs will officiate the service. Burial will be at the Osceola Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola, IN.
