Sister M. Florus CSC, of 1113 E. Jefferson Blvd., died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend. A member of the Holy Cross order, she was a former principal of St. Patrick Parochial School in South Bend. At the time of her death she was a resident of the Provincial House in South Bend. She was born as Mary Henchy in Ireland in 1879. She came to this country in 1893 and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross the same year. She received the habit in 1894

A requiem mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception with burial in the community cemetery. Friends may call today at Saint Mary’s Convent parlor.
