Marcy Alice Heltzel, 54, of East Milton Street, South Bend, Ind., died of natural causes on Friday April 13, in her residence. She was born on Oct. 27, 1946, in St. Joseph County, to the late Alice and Paul Martin Bunde.

Marcy is survived by her oldest son, Paul M. Heltzel, and his wife, Krysti; her middle son, Ronald P. Heltzel II, and his wife, Natalie Cooper, and their children, Ronald P. III, Stephanie, Mikalah and Chelsea; her daughter, Melissa M. Heltzel, and her husband, Karl E. Abraham, and their children, Eric, Alicia and Paul; her adopted son, Brian Tavoletti; and two sisters, Jeanie Radman of South Bend and Gladys Murphy of Alabama. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Robertson in 1970.

Marcy attended Indiana University, South Bend, for three years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka, Ind.

Services for Marcy will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, in First Presbyterian Church, 401 Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka. Rev. Ronald P. Miller will conduct the services. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 16, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, South Bend. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 535 W. Edison, Unit #6, Mishawaka, IN 46545; or to the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, Memorial & Tributes Program, P.O. Box 85-541, Chicago, IL 60680-1541.
