MISHAWAKA - Emma J. Heltzel, 93, of Countryside Place, died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home.

Mrs. Heltzel was born March 11, 1900, in St. Joseph County. On March 11, 1971, in Mishawaka, she married Calvin S. Heltzel. He died Nov. 21, 1985. She is survived by a daughter, Wilmetta Watts of Elkhart; two sons, Wayne J. Odiorne of Mishawaka and Ervin Odiorne of Osceola; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Freida LeCount of Elkhart, and Alma Knepper and Nora Hartman, both of Mishawaka. She was a member of Pennway Church of God.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Elkhart. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
