SOUTH BEND - Paul F. Helman, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died of natural causes Friday in Fort Pierce, Fla. Mr. Helman was an insurance salesman in South Bend. He was born Dec. 13, 1912, in South Bend and moved to Florida in the late 1970s.

He married Marie Helman, who preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, Craig of Vero Beach, Fla., and Dean of Fort Pierce; a daughter, Paula Helman Bliss of Pass Christian, Miss.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was a member of Masonic Lodge of South Bend.
