Madelon E. Heinrich, 94, residing in
Melbourne Beach, Fla., passed away at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4,
in the West Melbourne Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 17,
1907, in Seward, Pa., as the daughter of Alexander and Ethel (Versazto)
Horvath, and lived in South Bend, Ind., for many years until
moving to the Merritt Island-Melbourne areas in 1972.
On May 29, 1926, in South Bend, as Madelon Horvath,
she married Richard Heinrich. He died in 1972. She was also
preceded in death by a sister, Jane Kaslly; and by two
brothers, Robert Horvath and Alex Horvath. She is survived by two
brothers, William Horvath of Haines City, Fla., and Louis Horvath
of Niles, Mich. She was formerly a winder with a fishing tackle
business. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church
in South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec.
8, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend.
Deacon Brad Metz, C.S.C., will officiate. Burial will follow at
St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. The family will
receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Palmer Funeral
Home. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Heinrich may be made to
cancer research.
