Clarence L. Heim, 74, of 309 N. Main St., North Liberty, died at
3:30 p.m.
Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart
attack at
his residence while shoveling snow. He was retired from the
South Bend
Community School Corp., where he had worked as a carpenter.
He was also
former owner of the D. X. service station, North Liberty.
He was born on
April 10, 1905 in Liberty Township., andhad lived htere all his
life. On
March 29, 1940, in Borrk, Ind., he married Margaret E. Fetzer who
survives,
along with a son, Army Capt. Franklin Heim, Fort Lee, Va; a
grandchild, six
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hillegas and Mrs. Florence Wiese, both of
South Bend,
Mrs. Ruth Bare of North Liberty, Mrs. Vylet Baker of Walkerton,
Mrs.
Maraurite Mc Cuchtcheon of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs Dorothy Reed
of St.
James, Fla., and a brother, Charles, of Carlsbad, Calif.
Friend may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at
the A. M. Manuel
Funeral Home, North Liberty. He was a member of the North
Liberty United
Methodist Church, Masonic Lidge 266 and the Modern Woodmen of
America.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association.

HEIM-Services for Clarence L. Heim, 74, of 309 N. Main St., North
Liberty,
who died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday in
the North Liberty United Methodist Church. Dr. Gaylord
Saltzgaber, paster,
will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, North
Liberty.

Funeral Home,
North Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to the

Association of South Bend.
