SOUTH BEND - Annabelle J. Heiden, 72,
of Peggy Avenue, died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday in her home after an
illness. Mrs. Heiden was born June 17, 1923, in South Bend.
On June 26, 1943, in South Bend, as
Annabelle J. Ewing, she married William R. Heiden. He
survives with three daughters, Kathleen A. Heminger and
Janie A. Emmons, both of South Bend, and Lori A. Horan
of Granger; four sons, William R. Jr. and Patrick J., both of
South Bend, Michael D. of Mishawaka, and Robert J. of Plymouth;
15 grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Jane Kalal and
Dorothy Haney, both of South Bend, Geraldine Streuver
and Helen Lovett, both of Mishawaka, and Lorraine Kelly
of LaJolla, Calif.; and three brothers, Robert and William
Ewing, both of South Bend, and James Ewing of Pueblo, Colo.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in
Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverview
Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hickey
Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a wake will be at 7
p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph
County Inc.
