SOUTH BEND - Yolanda R. Hedl, 72, of Chimes Blvd., died Thursday evening, September 24, 1998, after an extended illness in the Saint Joseph Medical Center.
Mrs. Hedl was born on March 4, 1926, in South Bend, to Louis and Magdalina (Molnar) Pinter, who preceded her in death.
On January 2, 1954, as the former Yolanda R. Pinter, she married Louis M. Hedl, who preceded her in death on April 28, 1982.
As a lifelong area resident of South Bend she was employed for forty-one and a half years with the Bendix Corporation as a general clerk before retiring in 1985.
Survivors include her three sisters, Anna Niemann and Mary Pinter, both of South Bend, and Irene Bella of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by her brother, Louis Pinter of South Bend; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 28, 1998, in Saint Anthony de Padua Catholic Church where she was a member. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.
Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Hickey Funeral Homes, 3516 East Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend, Indiana.
