Sister M. Hughetta CSC, 69, died early Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, after a brief illness. She was born Anney Heavy in Ireland in 1890. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1915 and received the habit of the sisterhood the same year. She made her profession of vows in 1920. Duyring her community life she served at Harvard, Chatsworth, Chicago and Woodstock in Illinois; LaPorte, Hammond and St. Mary’s in South Bend; and at Lancaster, Pa., and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Her most recent assignment was at the Provincial House in South Bend, where she served until this month.
