Reverend Lowell C. Hazelip, 65, of
Dunedin, Fla., died Tuesday, May 29, after an illness of seven
years. He was born in Mishawaka, Ind., March 23, 1936, the son of
Carroll and Christine Hazelip, who preceded him in death. He
graduated from Riley High School in 1954.
He was married to the former Virginia Forbes
for 45 years. She survives. He is also survived by a daughter,
Sheri (Joseph) Fevelo; a son, David; and a grandson, Joey,
all of New Jersey; a brother, Malcolm Hazelip of Nashville,
Tenn.; and by two sisters, Barbara Hazelip and Marcella Kovatch
of South Bend, Ind.
Reverend Hazelip pastored the United Pentecostal Church of Trenton, N.J., for 22 years until illness caused his retirement. He moved to Dunedin in 1999. Services and burial will be in Trenton, N.J. The Huber Funeral Home, Bordentown, N.J., handled the arrangements.
