Madge M. (Quine) Haynes, 86, of South
Bend passed away at home from natural causes Saturday, January 8,
2005. She was born July 30, 1918 in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
Madge was married to James E. Haynes, who
passed away September 17, 2001. She was a loving, caring mother
and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and
friends. She was a member of Christ the King parish, Christ Child
Society and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. Madge
is survived by her three daughters, Kathaleen Buening of
Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mary Petersen of Edwardsburg,
Michigan, and Karen Haynes of South Bend, one son-in-law Thomas
Buening of Green Bay, Wisconsin, one granddaughter Amanda Buening
of Green Bay, Wisconsin, three grandsons Christopher Buening of
Seattle, Washington, Scott Petersen and Timothy Petersen, both of
Edwardsburg, Michigan. Madge was preceded in death by her husband
James E. Haynes, her son George Q. Haynes, her grandson James H.
Haynes and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Today,
January 10, at the Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road,
South Bend. A rosary service will be held at 4:30 p.m. The
Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 11 at
Christ the King Church, 52473 State Route 933, South Bend. In
lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Center for Hospice
& Palliative Care Inc. for St. Joseph County.
