ELKHART - Richard Carter Hayes, 52, of 1529 Ashe Drive West, died Tuesday in his home of natural causes. Survivors include a daughter, Kelly L. Hayes of Indianapolis; a son, Richard J. of South Bend; his mother, Estella Fergunson of South Bend; a sister, Cynthia Walker of South Bend; and a brother, Robert of Philadelphia. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Augustine's Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Alford's Mortuary is handling arrangements.
