Emiel Hauteman

Feb. 3, 1911 – March 8, 1959

Emiel Hauteman, 1117 Thomas Street, sied at 2:10 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital after a six week illness. He was born in Mishawaka on Feb. 3, 1911, and came to South Bend 20 years ago from there.

On Jan 9, 1937 he married Miss Irene Mikula, who survives, Mr. Hauteman was employed by the Ball Band plant in Mishawaka. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Susan Rudynski of South Bend, and Miss Sharlele Hauteman at home; and two sons, Terrence and Kenneth, both at home; a grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Mary LaBlanc and Mrs. Ann Siders, both of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Antoinette Rhodes of Cleveland.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heat Catholic Church, with Very Rev. Msgr. George Moorman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Mishawaka.
