SOUTH BEND- Lucille E. Hass, 87, of South Bend, Indiana,
passed away at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, in Regency Place
of South Bend. She was born on March 5, 1920, in South Bend, to
the late Gladys M. (Watkins) and Arthur E. Edwards.
A sister, Helen Druelinger, also preceded her in death.
On July 21, 1973, in South Bend, as Lucille
E. Edwards, she married Ralph Hass, who survives. Mrs. Hass is
also survived by a sister, Marge Barden of Overland Park,
Kansas, and was loved and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hass retired in 1996 as the secretary for Hass Wholesale.
She attended the South Bend College of Commerce and was a member
of the former Peoples Church in South Bend.
Services for Mrs. Hass will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday, January 19, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home
North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where friends may call
from 4 to 7 p.m. today and one hour prior to services on
Saturday. Rev. Robert Burkhardt will conduct the services. Burial
will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's
choice.
