Raymond D. Hassan Sr.: (South Bend Tribune 12/16/1971)

Raymond D. Hassan Sr., 48, of 3307 Concord Ct., died unexpectedly at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Sheraton Hotel, Chicago, following a brief illness. He had been in Chicago to attend a business convention. Born in Mishawaka on April 23, 1923 he married Dorothy J. Nowicki on Jan. 5, 1944, in Trenton, N.J. She survives in addition to three sons, Raymond D. Jr. of Mishawaka, and Philip B. and Randall K. at home; a brother, Daniel Hassan of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Donald Ryckaert of Osceola. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where arrangements are being completed. Mr. Hassan was a candy broker for the Indianapolis area and a veteran of World War II.
