Jacqueline Ann Hasko, 69, of 10236
State Road 23, Walkerton, Ind., died following an illness at 6:35
a.m. on Sunday, May 9, in her residence. Formerly of New
Carlisle, Ind., Jackie had lived in Walkerton for the past four
years, coming from Argos, Ind.
Born July 14, 1929, in South Bend, Ind.,
Jackie was the daughter of Samuel J. and Mabel Bell (Mills)
Sparks. She graduated from high school in South Bend.
On Dec. 26, 1950, in St. Joseph County, she
married David L. Hasko, Sr., who preceded her in death on Dec.
12, 1992. She worked for Ristance Products in Argos, retiring in
1995 after 20 years of service. Jackie especially enjoyed flower
gardening, and was a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge. Jackie
is survived by two sons, David (Beth) Hasko of Lakeville, Ind.,
and Peter (Nicole) Hasko of Walkerton, along with four
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel in
1930; her mother, Mabel in 1992; her husband, David in 1992; a
daughter, Jacqueline Ruth Dalgarn in 1987; a brother,
Jimmy Sparks in 1997; and by a grandson, Joshua Hasko in 1986.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on
Wednesday in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan
Street, Plymouth. The Women of the Moose will hold a special
memorial service Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral services
will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home, with
Rev. Charles Krieg of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist
Church officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery,
Argos. Memorials in Jackie's name may be made to a charity of the
donor's choice.
