Willard Z. "Bud" Haskin Jr., 51, residing on Normandy Drive, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Bud was employed with McGuinn Landscaping. He was born on Dec. 28, 1951, in South Bend, Ind., to Willard Z. and Mary (Spillman) Haskin Sr. He was preceded in death by his father on May 4, 1973.

Bud is survived by his mother, Mary Haskin of Niles, Mich.; one daughter, Rebecca Talbott of Mishawaka; three grandchildren, Austin Haskin, Seth Talbott and Anna Talbott; five sisters, Molly Ogren of Niles, Sandra Ramey of Phoenix, Ariz., Carol Sue Ferguson of Fort Worth, Texas, Martha Uhl of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mary Kay Cole of Elkhart, Ind.; and by a brother, Robert Taylor of Millington, Mich. Bud was a 1972 graduate of Penn High School

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Dr. John Riggs, pastor of First Seventh-day Adventist Church, South Bend, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
