William F. Haselbeck died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday in the home of
his daughter, Mrs. James L. Morris, of Pontiac, Mich., where he
had resided for nine months. Prior to that he had lived in South
Bend 76 years. Mr. Haselbeck had been ill two years.
He was born in Germany Feb. 21, 1878. He was a retired painting
and decorating contractor.
Surviving are his widow, Birfie A.; Mrs. Morris; three
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herman,
of South Bend.
Friends may call Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home where
services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Edward
Boase, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate and
burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Mr. Haselbeck was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and
Woodmen of the World.
