Robert E. Hartman

MISHAWAKA - Robert E. Hartman, 70, of Tucson, AZ, formerly
of Mishawaka, passed quietly into heaven on April 26, 2007, in
his home. Robert was born May 19, 1936, in Mishawaka, to the late
Franklin D. and Nina (Rensberger) Hartman. Robert attended
Mishawaka High School and graduated from Central High School in
South Bend. Robert served two years in the U.S. Army.
On October 5, 1957, he married Ronna Lawson
in South Bend. Robert was a gold plater for Conn in Elkhart for
10 years. In 1970, he moved his family to Nogales, AZ, and worked
at UMI Musical Instruments until he retired in 2001. He is
survived by his wife, Ronna, of 49 years; children, David Hartman
of Phoenix, AZ, Debbie (Robert) Ramirez and Diane Chavez,
both of Tucson; Five grandchildren, Joseph Castro, Jessica
Chavez, Vanessa, Michael and Christopher Ramirez; and a
sister, Winifred Neland of Culver. Besides his parents,
Robert was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell F.
Hartman; and stepmother, Virginia Hartman.
For all those who knew Robert, please
remember his caring ways, cheerful times and the love he gave to
others. He is on the endless motorcycle ride of his life. There
were no services at his request.
