MISHAWAKA - Clark Norman Joseph Hartman, 36, of 1141/2 Wells St., died about 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital. Dr. Michael O'Connell, deputy coroner, ruled the death a suicide. Mr. Hartman was employed by Carpenter's Local 413, South Bend, and was a cook at Doolittle's Pub, South Bend.

He was born Oct. 3, 1958, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by three sons, Clark J. of Mottsville, S.C., and Eric and Andrew, both of South Bend; his parents, Beth Hammond of Phoenix, and Anton A. Hartman of South Bend; a sister, Jennifer Ferendez of Phoenix; three brothers, Gary A. and Joseph A., both of South Bend, and Matt Hammond of Phoenix; and a maternal grandmother, Virginia Lehman of Phoenix. He was a veteran of the Navy.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation.
